i convinced my friends to come try this place with me and it was the best decision we've ever made. I LOVE burritos and im picky with my burritos because I've spent my whole life eating them and therefore can quickly tell a good burrito from a bad one. El Farolito is going to the burrito good place. For starters, the interior of the restaurant was pretty clean and when we arrived there was no line. I went with a grilled chicken burrito and agua de piña on the side. The person taking our order was really nice. The food came out incredibly fast (less than 10 mins). The burritos are HUGE. The tortillas are super soft and flavorful. They are not stingy with any of the toppings. Everything was cooked and seasoned beautifully. The salsas were also spot on. I managed to eat half and had the rest for dinner. I definitely will be coming back. I paid less than $10 for a burrito that lasted me two meals and a drink. This place is definitely worth checking out.

I discovered El Farolito when my usual burrito spot was closed one day. I was blown away by my first asada burrito from El Farolito - it was packed with meat yet well-balanced without being greasy. Since then, I've become a regular and tried most of the menu. Standouts include the huge yet tasty quesadillas, flautas, and tortas, as well as the fresh agua frescas. What keeps me coming back is the quality ingredients, generous portions, and late hours at their various locations. Overall, El Farolito serves up delicious, authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices, cementing its place as a must-try.

We came for a super burrito that we heard was super delicious. The line was fast moving so you better know what you want before you walk in there, because there is no time to wait and look! We ordered a burrito to split as we heard they were massive... and that they were and for a very good price! We got their normal burrito with beans, rice, meat, and sauces. It was pretty good, nothing too special about them, but still was yummy and one half filled us both up! The sauces that they come with really tie the burrito together and give it that flavor you are missing! We also got chips and salsa that were good and a jarrito because those are always the best drink to pair with a burrito!

On our way back for another order! They make the best caldo de pollo in Oakland; the broth is truly outstanding and long simmering with so much flavor. I love that they give you bone-in chicken with it. Gonna try the pozole and fried tacos, next. The street tacos are incredible, too. Their carne is grilled so has a ton of flavor.
